Upcoming Educational Programme - Day 3

This Saturday, April 4th, is Day 3 of our Educational Programme. Because we weren't able to carry out the scheduled activity on the Second day of our Programme, we plan on carrying this out on Saturday. This is what we are planning to do, as described by Nivedita Gunturi in her previous post:

We will do a small name game again so that everyone can learn everyone else's names, followed by tomorrow's main activity. Every child will be given a sheet of paper and some crayons to work with. They will be asked to draw what they want to be when they grow up, and there will be a small discussion afterward in the small groups.

We hope to take this chance to discuss with the children the importance of vision and personal goals. We also want to stress that the goals are reachable if they make the effort to work towards them, and if they take their education seriously.

After this activity, the weekly hygiene lesson will happen, tomorrow's topic being brushing teeth. The children will be taught how to properly brush and the importance of brushing twice a day.
