Our First Visit
On March 8th, 2008 we went on our first visit to the slum, distributing about 225 packets of curd rice (thair satham) and bananas to the people who lived in the slum. The consensus was that this was a successful project which has led to the idea that we could do more for the residents of our adopted village. A large group of people helped to make the food and distribute it.

Yesterday we held our basketball tournament and it sounds like it was a huge success, but I wasn't there for it. Stay tuned for a report on that!
